Sorry for the late update people, so here's the update of our Easter Party on 10th June. It was held in Lih Tyng's house in the morning, tho it was just few of us, but it was really FUN! :D

Sooooo, we had our very first meeting last last Saturday. It was pretty successful *claps* and credits to all committee who put much effort in the meeting (:

I know this may be silly but, have you ever wonder if God gets exhausted? But as we know, it's impossible. He's almighty and never gets tired.

But still,
1. He has to watch over everyone in the world.
2. He has to answer all the prayers.
3. He has to plan everything for us.

Hmmmmmmm.

God seriously just don't get tired :)
For me, i think it's because He is doing something He love, not just because He is Almighty and He is able to do that :) He is doing His part as a father, as a friend, as our God, as the closest person to us, He was even willing to sacrifice!
But for you, why ahhhh?

Well, the whole thing about exhaustion is because God just guided all the form3s through their PMR and giving them great time right now. And now he has to again go through battle with the Form4s and Form5s.

But no, it's not gonna be done half-hearted yo! God will guide you form4s as how He guided form3 tanpa erti perkataan jemu! (decided to do rojak here to cheer you form4s up, i don't even know whether it's right or not HAHA)

Not gonna give any advice, just pray and everything will go fine :)

Sooo, Good Luck in your finals! Work for it, nail it and God will do the rest! The relaxed (:D) form3s have your backs!

Helllooooo you people out there! Yes, it's back to Sunday NIGHT again :/ See, i emphasized the word night okay, which means i'm sick of Sunday nights, not mornings, HAHAHA. And yes, because tomorrow is Monday. double:/

HEHE. Soooooo, weeks and months without CF meetings, how are you people? Busy for exams, i assume. And I know during times like this, you people will start whining, when is it gonna end, i can't stand it no more, i'm gonna DIE (haha), blahblahblah. Time starts to seem very little, ticking 12 hours a day now. And worst of all, you began neglecting GOD. *shakeshead*

Remember, no matter how busy you are. Spare that time for God, even if it's a minute or when you're about to sleep. Spare that time for God. Talk to him, tell him all your problems, just pray, talk, and share with him what's going on. I'm sure none of you cant tahan not talking to your bff for one day. Even if it's a weekend you'll just text or call her, right? God is your bff and i believe you are God's too, so yeah. It helps just like how you tell your kawan all your secrets! The difference is, God helps, comforts (at least, better than friends do) and keep it a secret.

Have it ever seems to you like, everything is not going your way? God is putting so many things on you, that sometimes you just feel like letting everything go? And you blame Him, for burdening you. God is good, but everything makes you doubt it.Why would He do this to me since he knows (my exams are coming soon, this is not the time, i'm not good at it, i don't like it) ? But what you don't know is, God has his reason, God has his plans for us. Who knows maybe one day, that thing God wants us to do that particular time actually results in a bigger thing? Accept what He gives us, or wants us to do, without doubting, even it means sacrificing a little bit. Have faith that no matter what happens, He'll be by our side, He'll help us, He'll pull us through for He will only give us the best.

Hello people, we're still alive and kicking. Yes, we are!

So how was your holidays? Honestly, mine's a bore already :/ Okay so what are the best ways to have a break while busy preparing for your examinations during two these two weeks, hmmmmm...

1) Go for a vacation. But bet you are not right, because if you are, you wouldn't be reading this :)
2) Study more. Yeahh, like it's not killing us already. Hehh.
3) Movies! Lepak in Aeon! But i know you can't stand your mother nagging at you anymore.

SOooo, the best solution is,

Come to Port Klang Gospel Hall for our INDOOR GAMES FIESTA.
Okay so it goes like that, it's a little bit like amazing race which you have to finish all your task as fast as possible, but yeah, it's indoor. We do it all with once-upon-a-time games. Like batu seremban, blahblahblah, all those funny games we play when we were std 1 lahh!! No computers, no iTouch, no PSP :)

Why rot at home when you can have fun and it's obviously in some place your parents will totally be fine with? COME COME COME COME COME :D

see guys, God's presence is already so strong in pre-rally, how strong His presence will be during rally? have you thought about this? dont just say "no she's not gonna come, i know her" and such, leave it all to God, you need to only invite your friends and pray for them, the rest, leave it all to God. He hears us and He'll do His work, and of course, in His own way and timing

I bet being in high school isn't easy for all of us. Tons of homework, exam after exam (especially form 3s, SIGH!), super duper hard syllabus, PMR, SPM and what not. Life was so much easier back in primary school, no? Everything was like nothing in primary school, all we did was enjoy ourselves and until a certain of period, we have to just study a lil bit and that's all.

But everything is different right now, you relax and you get left behind, right right right? For several times i really feel like giving up and just not doing anything. Not studying, not attending to school, not doing anything i'm supposed to do, which i bet everyone thinks about it before sleep. (You know, that before-sleeping-period is when we imagine things that wouldn't happen ;] )

Every time when i was about to give up, there is always a voice saying that DON'T , and that's God. He always tellls me that, no matter what happens, don't give up, keep holding on and He'll guide me. And that's when I get all pumped up and decided to put more effort on what i was doing. As the pastors always say, if you do something for God, you can't imagine how wonderful things you will get back. God will bless you even more, protect you and be with you. You will never feel alone.

As a form 3 student, everything that is going on now is PMR PMR then PMR. Every month we have exam put i'm always caught up with church activities and rally meetings, and every time i think that God is not giving me enough time to do anything. But to think back, the last time I had my exam my schedule was also packed with activities, church activities especially. And guess what? I not only had enough time for everything, but i also got ahemahemgoodahem results. HAHA. See what I meant by just putting everything on Him? You commit yourself and no matter what, He WILL bless you. You WILLLLLL be blessed!

So even if you feel like giving up now especially when school is hell, keep holding on. Do it for yourself, do it for God. If you think you're wasting time on church activities, think AGAIN.

'For I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need. '

I keep this verse in my pencil box :)

back to topic, HOW TO FEEL PRODUCTIVE ON A SATURDAY?

nah i've 3 good awesome nice events line up for you!

PRE-RALLY HAPPENING TOMORROW NIGHT. OR TONIGHT !
6 PM - 9 PM AT GLAD TIDINGS ASSEMBLY KLANG (opposite high school klang)

AND USHERS!
YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT YOU'RE SUPPOSE TO BE THERE TOO FROM 9 AM - 11 AM FOR USHERS TRAINING RIGHT

AND COMMITTEES SEKALIAN!
WORKSHOP FROM 2 - 4 PM !

so here's the plan okay

you wake up at 730 AM, then shower and yada yada, reach GTAK before 9 AM, go prayer meeting then usher's training until 11 AM, then hang around or anything until 2 PM then go for the workshop until 4 PM then then you can join the main service at 5 PM in the sanctuary then back to pre-rally from 6 - 9 PM

then go home, shower, pray, sleep. then wake up at 9 AM, prepare yourself again then head to your church

oh wow! :D

so i'll just list out what i can remember okay :)

Lifting each other's burden.

its like a cycle, it doesnt matter if you're having a whole load of burden or you're carrying super heavy load on your shoulder, you can still offer to help other people, your friend especially to lift up their burden. as you help someone, God will denifitely send someone to lift yours as well. its like a cycle you see!

Imagine someone offers you a hand

easy, just imagine. you're having a veery very big problem, you're upset. and suddenly, someone call you up and ask if you're okay, if you need help. you'll go like "WOAH" and at that point, you'll feel like you're the most blessed girl on earth right? so go, call up someone tonight !

Serving God with all you've

dont have to be scared. dont have to tell yourself "no. i'm not good enough. she's better than me. i can't serve. i'm not perfect" . just surrender it all ! everyone has a talent, and God doesnt give us that talent to keep it, but to use it to serve him. and if you've those thoughts of " i'm not perfect, i can't serve " . you're definitely wrong. BIG BIG mistake, bcos no one is perfect, no one can be perfect. so if you can only serve when you're perfect, you'll never serve

basically thats all right? sorry if i missed out some. maybe you can personally approach tongshin and ask her to share it with you again? i bet she'll be delighted to :)

hi all! sorry for this overdue post, weekye's testimony from meta camp.

read right till the end, its a really good testimony, i like!

When the first time I heard about Meta Camp, it was a 'no' for me. Finding for excuses trying to reject this offer. But then, thinking of all the double chores I have to do, I changed my mind and said 'YES'! Spending my holidays with God might be a good idea!

I'm always very antisocial and as a normal Christian, I attend church every Sunday, join bible study and maybe some activities from youth. I only serve God when my church members told me to do so. God's love and grace for me was just that level

After listening to Pastor Rudy's experience on saving people from demon-possesed, raising the death, etc. It really opens my eyes and I want to see more of God's miracle. Serve God willingly, be in God's level, not asking God to lower down himself to our level.

In our lives, we'll often be involve in fights and arguements. Get really furious and angry with someone, and the anger inside of us make us hate them. But we should forgive and forget, reborn and repent. Whenever we heard the word 'REPENT', we often think it as a bad thing and feel sorry for ourselves. But no, the bible called it the good news and that we should be happy that we repented. We must also promise ourselves that we'll never turn back to our old sins.

Although it may be hard to forgive someone you really hate, and satan would be pulling you backwards. Pray to God, do your part and leave the others into God's hand

So let us learn how to serve, and in our lives enthrone Him
Each other needs to prefer for it is Christ we're serving

Remember when once every year all the CFs, literally all CFs in every school gets sooo excited about an event? Well well well, in case you don't know anything about it, it's the Inter School Rallyy. Annd guess what? It's baccckkk!!! *rolls on the floor and laughs happily*

For the theme this year, we have 'Snoozing?' Yessss, wake up you people!!!
Brought to you by Interschool Christian Fellowship, we're gonna have the rally in Hin Hua Auditorium on the 31st of July, Saturday. From 6.30pm - 9.30pm. Soooo, why sitting around at home doing nothing when you have an event of the year going on??

Stop being such a lazy pig, clean yourself and make yourself there alright? Free admission some more okeeehhh. Air-conditioned, great band, superb sketch and fun speaker, there isn't even a single reason for you to not show up!

Okay i'm gonna tell you a personal experience here =)
Every year i heard so many things about the rally and i really wanted to go like every year but always did not at the last minute. You know lah, friends ditch me, this and that. And I always regret so much after listening all those fun times/things from the other friends who went. So last year, like finally, I went even though it was me being all alone. But dare I say, it was the best event ever. Have you seen anyone having fun even though they are all alone? No, right? yeah that proves how good the event was. The speaker was like super hilarious!

So promise me something alright? Show yourself in that event like pretty pretty please. You will not regret!!

And btw, for the rally we need 5 - 6 person each for logistics and ushering., which means in total we need around 10-12 of you! But we still haven't confirmed the names yet although it was told 2 months ago. Soo please give your names to Lihtyng, Audrey or Eugenie okaayyy, don't be shyy!! Drop your names in the cbox, facebook, or personally contact one of them.

I guess that's about it =) Enjoy the rest of your holidays (which technically 3 more days left since it's already 12.06am now), God bless!

Hey you people! I bet when you see this post, you're already in a very good mood. Right, right, right?? After all the stress and staying up late to study, at last we can really rest our minds and just relax for a few days. Annnndddd, holidays are hereee! I know most of you probably had your plans for it already, but remember, always spare time or take a break from every situation to talk to God.

About what?
- Are you in trouble? Is anyone you know in trouble? Instead of dwelling on it all the time, take a break. Tell God about it and trust Him for a solution.

- Are you feeling great (which i think probably most of you are) right now? Tell God about it!

- Is something bugging you? Do you want to get something off your chest? Talk to a trusted Christian about it and make a prayer request.

- Has someone in your fellowship blackslidden? Pray for the person! Spend time with them and do your best to urge them return to the Lord.

Pray with faith by recognizing that God's will in all that matter is the best. Which means pray earnestly and sincerely, and God will surely answer your request in an aaaaaaaawwwwwweeeeeessssssoooommmmmmeeeeee way.

I know lah everyone of you very busy during the holidays. Go dating, go out with friends but take a break and talk to God. Few minutes or even an hour, just take a little of that time. You will find yourself to be a more effective Christian =)

And so, HAPPY HOLIDAYS! God will be blessing each and everyone of you and be by your side ALL THE TIME =D

Hey you people! Just want to remind you guys that exams are just around the corner. Wait, actually it already started for the form 5s. Anyway, good luck in your examinations alright!

Feeling helpless and stress in studying and all? Pray to God!
You're never awake while doing revision? Pray to God!
Having panic attack last minute? Pray to God!
Don't know where you should start? Pray to God!

Whatever it is you're facing right now, stress, unable to cope with your studies, still don't get a single thing what teacher is teaching, pray and He will guide you through everything =D This is the main thing to do, another thing is, find a tutor, go for tuition if you really don't understand what teachers are teaching ;) You want to get good results? Put more effort! God will see it and answer your i-wanna-score prayers.
Stop facebooking, which i now everyone of you people does it even though exam is like, this week/next week. Stop the procrastinating, stop lazing around watching Glee. HAHAHA. It's time to burn the midnight oil! :D

I know you guys probably gotten so bored of me saying this, but i still gotta say this. Prayer meeting tomorrow as usual. 7am in basketball court, see you there!

lihtyng, casovia, ai lin, tongshin and weekye represented convent to Recess & Campus Gathering yesterday.

everything, as in EVERYTHING was awesome

104 Teens from 21 different school and 74 campus student from 22 colleges showed up!

And Ps Andy Yeoh sharing bout how to keep it going and not giving up
* the ones in red are one of the many points ps andy shared. what? i kenot remember all lah =)

also we hear some awesome inspiring testimonies from high school and campus students
and yes, all 5 of us were so moved and inspired

so lets us all do it together!

- Dont be too spiritual. Listen from Holy Spirit and JUST DO IT !

its time to show that, we Christians care!

and it doesnt matter what race they're, where they're from, Jesus loves them!

it doesnt matter how many people is with us for Recess Revo
because as Ps Andy said, even if you're alone, you can make a team because you're NOT alone!

Keep On LAUGHING

So this was what lih tyng shared this morning. Keep on LAUGHING. *burstoutlaughing*.

Anyways, last Saturday's CF was a success, yes? Pn.Sarah actually said that we've done a great job. Well, not me, but the others! The ones who shared testimonies, cracking their heads thinking what biblical games to play, for the sweets and for the notes. Oh and yeah, for those of you who came ;)

Started off with Tong Shin, Xinee and Eugenie leading in P&W. Sang Hari ini Kurasa Bahagia, Amazing Grace and Mighty to Save then played Simon Says. We had Tong Shin, Eugenie, Casovia and Jokym (tell me if i left anyone out) sharing their testimonies.

Then we had Pn.Sarah sharing bout, well, Fires. Let nothing stop you from worshiping the Lord or spend time with your family? Especially for us students, the devil comes in the form of stealing your time. Have you ever feel that, 'oh no, exam next week, not going CF this week' ? Or, 'I'll just finish up my homework before doing my daily devotions'' but ended up not doing it at all? So yeah, that's mainly what Pn.Sarah was telling us. So, we have to be smart. HAHA.

And and and, we did reccess revo today! Yay to Lihtyng for the nice nice nice little papers. We wrote stuff in it and distributed to everyone. Heeeyyy people!! Here just to inform what's going on in CF to keep you guys updated.

Incase you missed it or didn't know it, we had our combined meeting with Andalas last two weeks. I did not count but at least 15 of us came =) Annndd, we had a great time! =) Will post up the pictures in the next post.

Now, captain ball! For those who doesn't know what in the world is Captain ball, it's exactly like netball. Just that instead of shooting into hoops, someone will be the catcher. That means you throw to the catcher in the end of the court and one point it is! And less confusing then netball, in my opinion =)

There's this event coming up called Copa IBA. Copa means Cup whereas IBA means Inter-Brethren Assembly. Which means is Cup Inter-Brethren Assembly, or rather Inter-Brethren Assembly Cup, hmmm. Sounds weird, we'll just call it Copa IBA shall we. :D

Sudden Meeting

And the CF committee had their pretty photo session today! Came out at 11.40++ for our turn to do so but since Pn.Sarah wanted to continue teaching and claimed that God is telling us to wait for Cik Anita by sending the rain, we had our sudden committee meeting.

We talked about,

1st, unsupervised meeting.
After so long, we're finally having a meeting. Although it's unofficial and stuff, but at least we're seeing each other :) bond bond.

When? This Saturday (16th April), 10.30am - 12pm.
Where? The Park (the park with fountain in front of convent)
What? Unsupervised and tak halal (LOL!) combine meeting with Sri Andalas

This I have to tell you, you'll definitely regret for the rest of you lives if you decided not to come. Like seriously. There will be games, praise and worship, sharing and so on. For the game, i shall remain it a secret. But seeing the park is such a big place, the game will be superb for sure. Okay lah, actually we haven't confirm it yet but we came up with few great ideas today at the meeting. Sooo, please be there. I guarantee you fun, fun and fun. Oh yeah, bring your friends too. Christians, non-Christians, CF member, non-member, boys and girls, just bring them here!

Oh and if you're planning on bringing food/refreshments/sweets or anything, inform Lih Tyng!
As for the members of CF, please reach school by 10am for the preparations.

2nd, new prayer meeting system
You think it's a little dull to just sit there chit-chatting randomly and then close in prayer, just like that? Well, we're having a new system now =) Which means, we will do something different each day.

Tuesday : Praise and Worship/ Games (alternately)
Wednesday : Sharing Testimonies
Thursday : Morning Devotion
Friday : Praying Time / Verse Understanding (alternately)

In case you don't get it, Praying Time is when each of us find a partner and spill out your problems or whatever stuff you think you need something to share with or pray for. Note : You don't have to spill something too personal. It's your wish.

Verse Understand. Each and everyone take turn to bring a verse (your favorite verse, any verse) and explain it in the prayer meeting.

So please attend the prayer meeting every morning (except Mondays) in the basketball court!

3rd, being good testimonies in school.
4th, get crazy in facebook and blog cbox please. Ailin, I and lihtyng are like mad fellows syok sendiri there. HAHAA.

Pray that God will bless us in every activities we're gonna be doing and that everything will run smoothly!

In case you're wondering when is the next CF meeting, well i don't really know. It seems like ages right since the last time we had our CF meeting. Sigh, the fun and joy of worshiping.

Walaubagaimanapun, we're having our prayer meeting every day except Mondays in the basketball court. Starting next week, we're doing different things every day instead of sitting down then pray. There are gonna be games, devotion etc etc in different days. It will be fun!

Oh and by the way, guess what? There are like alot alot alot alot of people today, yay! And we played some plant and woman game. It was pretty lame (HAHA to eugenie) but we had fun, yes? Soooo, join us tomorrow and every other days. See youuu!

Procrastination. That's the best wrod to describe me when I'm in Form 3. Even 2 months before my PMR examination, I actually spent my time watching TV and sitting in fonrt of the computer instead of studying. And just 1 week before my PMR examination, pressure starts coming in.

When I lookt at the amount of things I need to memorize, I got so scared.. The fear of not being able to read up everything. That 1 week i think, was most probably one of the most tiring week in my life. I stayed up to almost 5 AM everyday to study. Yes, I was THAT stress.

But looking back, I'm really glad that I actually had to go through that week because that's the time when I realized there's not one else will help me and be by my side to comfort and give me strength. No one but, God. I start seeking God, committing everything to Him and praying really hard for my studies and for me to sleep well during my PMR examination week as I'm so used to sleepingat 5 AM and waking up in the noon.

And although it's a long long tiring week with insufficient rest and everything, still, He pulled me through.

Proverbs 16 : 3 says
'Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed. '

True enough, and when I come back to school to collect my results on the 4th, I couldn't believe my eyes! God is good, all the time! And He has been really faithful to me since the first day. And I've never regret, not even 1 day of making that decision of accepting Him into my life!

That's like the BEST decision I've ever made!

SOOOOOOOOOOO, guess what? It's Good Friday tomorrow. I know kay that the first thing that came across your mind is that it's holiday tomorrow. No, there are more than that.

Ever thought of it, why is Good Friday ''good''? Googled it, saw a lot of reasons.

The Perfect Sacrifice
It is ''Good Friday'' because it is the day that God accepted Jesus Christ as the perfect sacrifice for our sin. Acts 10:43 ''...everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.''

He died for our Sins
Good Friday is a day to celebrate Jesus and what He did for us. What He did for our SINS. It's good because now no christians have to die for their sins.

Seriously, i've never give much thought about it but after reading all these, i start to think. Why it is good? Well i don't really know. All i know that it's good for me because He died for me (us lah technically). All those suffer, to save me, to pay for my sins. Because, He loves me.

Sooo, what do you think?

Breaking Waves

Reality check. How often do you hear,

"I was admitted into the hospital because of food poisoning" or, "I was involved in a car crash" even, "My parents are getting a divorce"

In real world now, yes quite often. But sometimes, you'd never really imagine it would actually happen to you. So here's my testimony, my story.

This year, I have found myself on the ground, so many times. As many times I have found myself on the downside, I try to regain myself. From time to time, there has been soul searching and learning about my true self.

This year, I was admitted into a hospital for food poisoning. With all my heart, I want to thank God for healing me.

This year, I was involved in a car crash. I was in the backseat, and the car was spinning. I didn't know what to think. We hit the curb, yet we did not turn. There was a hill behind us, yet we did no roll down. The billboard post right beside the car the moment we stopped. We did not hit it. By God's grace, me and my siblings we unhurt. No even a scratch on us. Amazing isn't it?

This year, I found out my parents are getting a divorce. Shocked beyond my imagination, I tried so very hard to keep myself up and going. With God's amazing love and peace, I have been pushing through and still am. I could never thank Him enough. His love and truth which has set me free. His peace, constantly filling me. His strength which kept me going. For some of us, it has been a tough year. It definitely has been for me. But one thing for sure, I know I'll keep standing tall and strong because I've got Jesus in my heart.

Today, I'd like to encourage you to keep pushing through even when the world around you is crumbling. He will always be here with you just like He's always here for me. He has got his hand help out for you, reach yours out and take His. He is the ground beneath your feet so don't be afraid. Victory is on your side once you've got Him.

So do not fear, for I am with you ;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you ;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand

have you ever been caught off guard by temptation?

there's this quote, by someone i forgotten the name. he says,
'if we entertain temptations, soon they'll be entertaining us'

satan is skilled at making sin attractive to us.
very true indeed!

and temptation is guaranteed to happen! no one, as in NO ONE is excluded. not even pastors, elderly or whosoever! and worst! temptation seems to always pop out when you're not ready!

are you scared already? hehe

hakuna matata! no worries for life!

we've a promising God with us!

'no temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful ; he will no let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you're tempted, He will also provide you a way out so you can stand up under it'
- 1 Corinthians 10 : 13

you're NOT the FIRST to experience temptation or the LAST. there are many out there going through the same thing

God is trustworthy and faithful. we can take Him at His words and believe Him 100% and count on Him to be there for you even at your lowest moment.

God wont allow enemy to throw more than you can handle

God will provide a way out and He's always ready to assist us!

Since we're on CNY breaak edy (YAY!) so we won't be meeting up every morning/afternoon for prayer meeting already right? BOOHOOOO!

1. Eugenie's grandmother (she's in hospital now and is very ill)

Prayers Can Move Mountains

testimony from our very own vice president 2010, Casovia Khoo!

There was a time this year that I made my mum mad at me. For the first time in my life, we did not talk to each other for a week time.

My mum even decided to reconsider letting me go for mission trip this year. That was too much for me! I had been looking forward to it for the past one year, and with that, plus a little disagreement, mum and I stopped talking.

I thought that it wasn't a big deal, so what if I did not talk to my mum?
But not long after that, I began to realize how much I missed my mum's warm voice and our usual chit chats.

I went through a terrible week, I locked myself in the room studying the whole time as PMR was near.

I knew thats things couldn't go on like this forever, but because I was afraid to talk to my mum, I talked to God instead. I prayed really hard every night asking Him to mend our relationship, that everything will turn out OK, and last of all, that I would be able to go for mission trip.

Guess what!? All my prayers were answered. My mum and I are even closer than ever now. Oh, I even went to mission trip in December and shared this testimony with the people there!

I think prayers are fantastic! No matter how short, how insignificant your prayer may seem, God heaars every one of them

All you've got to do is to have faith in Him,
then, you'll see mountains move!

Eternal Glory In Heaven

I was born in an ordinary family with no religion backgrounds. I'm not one of the many other families who uphold any form of prayers. Being told by my aunt that my mom actually knelt and prayed to the Buddhist gods, and that i was born because of that, I ought to pray to them as well.

Well, what do I know?

Naively I thought to myself, I go the temple I must be Buddhist! But I listen to Christian song, so I am a Christian ... as well?

Until at the age of 11, my cousin invited me for a church camp. CAMP, must be fun right? Who would've thought it was really biblical and putting the fear of God in me? It was a night where the speaker shared some of the important verses in the bible. Like being saved, be in enternal glory and lake of fire. Surprisingly that night, I was incredibly awake listening to every word! The lake of fire caught my attention and then it led to salvation.

Then I ponder upon the verses in the bible ; revelation, immediately that night to read the whole chapter. I couldn't sleep right, too many doubts running through.

The next morning we had a brief discussion about last night's service in my group. I listened to what everyone has to say, about the only way out, the only way to not be damned in the lake of fire, is to believe with all your heart and trust in the Lord Jesus.

Something struck me, that I had to pray and repent. I waited until that very night, the only think in my head was

'I got to do it, I got to pray, I have to!'

The night came, I waited for people in my dorm to be asleep. And when I'm pretty sure they're because I heard snores (lol) I got up and prayed for salvation. It was something that I needed most, and it was undoubtedly the best decision ever made ; I'm one of the children of God. I was utterly relieved, and could sleep very, very soundly that night.

That very night was dated 10th October 2003. Until today, I could never quite fathom how great is God.

Wo can ever lay His precious life and wash our sins with blood?
I've never heard of any other gods who had done it

Who can ever make a deal with the devil but God Himself?

And all we have to do was just give Him our heart where trust come from.
A good bargain, I suppose?

My testimony isn't something like a life changing experience or anything cool. To me, it was a small yet precious thing that happened.

To sit and ponder upn His mighty works amazes me in every way.
Our God is BIG!
Our God is GOOD!

RECESS TIME! Did you pack an apple to school today? Or maybe a tuna sandwich? You may not be crazy and bonkers about what is inside your tupperware for recess, but still you know you've got to eat to give your body energy.

Well, our faith needs to get energy too! Not through food but by going to church, praying and reading the Bible. We "feed" our faith when we do these things. It will grow stronger and stronger.

Next time you look in the mirror, check out what's changing about you. Now...what about your faith?

What is Love?

The word 'love' in language has a wide diversity of application and meaning. God's love for us is sacrificial and it's definitely not the same as love as in romance kind. So how do we differentiate love?

I went for a camp last year, and i learned that, there are actually different words for different kinds of love. Since our blog is gonna be dead -if i don't update or do something-, i decided to blog about love. =) Basically (as i know) there are four kinds of love. Storge, Phileo, Charity/Agape and Eros.

Agape
Agape is a Greek word, actually. In new testament, Agape is often translated as ''love''. How is it different from other types of love? No, it's not referring to love as in sexual or romantic love. Nor it is brotherly or family love. It's self-sacrificing love. So, now you know where to use this word Agape? Yes, it's God's love. God agape us.

Phileo
Now now, how does phileo works? It’s a Greek word used to describe friendship that’s developed between two or more people - the bond can be very strong and it’s easily mistaken for agape love. At its best, it will produce a bond between people that’s not easily broken, the best example of which in Scripture is probably the friendship that existed between David and Jonathan (I Sam 18:1ff).

Storge
Sorry, i don't know what language is this. HAHA. It refers to natural love that we show. As in towards family. Do you ask yourself, why do you love your parents? Your brothers, or your sisters? Even if you do, do you get a reason?
Like, ''Why must I love my parents?'' ''Oh because they give me allowance and buy me nice clothes.''
No you don't have to ask questions like that, because it's naturally in us. You will not do anything to hurt them. It's more like a bond that no matter what external forces coming against us, we'll be there for each other and will never break us up. Storge love binds the family together and strengthens its ties.

Eros
And the last but not least, Eros. Okay, we've talked about God's sacrificial love, brotherly/friendship love and family love, what's left? Yes, sexual/romantic love. Don't get all excited kay. HAHA. When you find someone attractive and stuff like that, eros is what you're gonna feel. I guess Eros also makes you do anything for that another person you Eros. So now the problem is, does God send His only Son because he Eros us? The answer is, no. God doesn't send His Son because He thinks mankind are attractive and stuff. So, you Eros your future husband but you don't Eros God, you Agape God.

Opening Ceremony

How was first three weeks of school, bored? For me, yes, and thinking about attending koko on Saturday makes me feel more tired but not anymore. There is CF meeting to look forward to! Sorry about the no-update period. :) For those who missed the so called opening ceremony of CF, keep reading and I guarantee you all the details and pictures.

Okay so it started off with praise and worship, lead by Xin Ee and Ailin, Audrey on guitar. Songs sang was Making Melody, Free and Awesome God. Now tell me you guys had fun!

Teacher advisor, Pn.Sarah and Cik Anita.

After singing, we had our games session which is kind of testing your bible knowledge. Everyone was given a verse and book names to match it up by exchanging with each other like how we play heart attack.

Don't get it? Well it's okay,

because they didn't get it either! LOL.

After having fun, we have Pn. Sarah sharing.

Oh and, we have Song books, Sweets, batches, testimonial books and bulletin too!

Convent CF 2010

HEY YOU GUYS!

Yup, this is the new and officially official CF blog. Credits to Audrey and Ai Lin who helped put this up. :) It's still under renovation so bear with them for a little while more alright. Currently we have no updates on CF yet. But we will! Soon! So do continue to check the CF board (right outside the staff room, beside the water dispenser) and continue to pray for CF! :)
